Historic Blakeley State Park is one of the largest and most diverse attractions within the Gulf Coast region. Within these more than 2,000 acres of some of the most biodiverse habitat in North America, the park contains the sites of Alabama's largest Civil War battle, the important early Alabama town of Blakeley, and Native American settlements dating back thousands of years. Nowhere else will you experience such a rare combination of rich cultural heritage and abundant natural beauty.
We had an amazing time at Blakely State Park! We stayed in the Kennedy Cabin, and it was super nice and very clean. The trails and scenery were absolutely beautiful, making every ride and walk feel like an experience, not just an activity.
The staff truly stood out. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. When the heater in our cabin broke, they were on it immediately and had it repaired in less than an hour, which we really appreciated.
The covered stalls were stellar, nicely built, and clearly designed with care and quality in mind.
We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this park for anyone looking for great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding service!

Village Point Park Preserve is the largest city park in Daphne, Alabama, offering 70 acres of protected land on Mobile Bay. Known for its immense, historic Jackson’s Oak, extensive boardwalks, and tranquil, wooded trails, the park is a popular spot for birding, hiking, and sunset viewing.
This park is beautiful! I love nature and this was my first time to visit this park. My mom and I were here together and we were about to start walking on a trail when there was a man local to Daphne who approached us and asked if we would like to follow him on the trail. We took him up on his offer and he told us some stuff about the park. We had our own personal tour guide. It was great fun!
