Hahamongna Watershed Park is located at the Southeast corner of Oak Grove Drive and Foothill Boulevard. Hours of operation are from 6:00 am to sundown. Located near Jet Propulsion Laboratory between La Canada High School and Altadena in Northwest Pasadena. This 1300-acre park in the Arroyo Seco extends from Devil’s Gate Dam north into the San Gabriel Mountains.
Very nice walk. This side of the park is pretty flat and easy to walk. I think it is good for a nice stroll for the elderly and also seems safe biking paths for kids.

Lower Arroyo Park Area located west of Arroyo Boulevard stretching from the Holly Street Bridge to Pasadena’s southern City limits and encompassing over 70 acres. Hours of operation are from 6:00 am to sundown. This natural preserve area is used for activities which require an outdoor, rustic-type setting. In addition, the Pasadena Casting Club, Inc. and the Pasadena Roving Archers, Inc operate at the park.
What am I absolutely favorite walks to do with my dog. Be careful of a coyotes, but the walk itself is great. It's well maintained and the side trails are really beautiful. You have to watch out for parking

It was great. I walked by the watershed to watch the sunset. Since it rained for a week, there's a lot of water in the canyon right now. It was really serene to hike through the canyon and the sunset down by the watershed was georgeous!
