This was a big surprise that I'm glad I got to experience. I didn't know much about the museum, and when I drove up to the gate (through an industrial area) I saw a beautiful driveway along a tree-lined road. The docent was interesting and clearly loves the history of Dominguez Rancho. I highly recommend doing the tour and learning about the history of the south bay area. And, lots of antiques, check out the Victor record player.

The house at 2336 E 126th St, Compton, California is widely recognized as part of Dr. Dre’s early life history. This location is a modest residential property in the Willowbrook/Compton area, and it represents the environment where Dre spent part of his childhood before becoming one of the most influential figures in hip-hop.
