The Gamble House (1908) is an internationally recognized masterpiece of the American Arts and Crafts movement. Built for David and Mary Gamble of the Procter and Gamble Company, the house is the most complete and original example of the work of architects Charles and Henry Greene. This Local, State, and National Historic Landmark is owned by the City of Pasadena and operated by The Gamble House Conservancy.
Was drawn to the place due to its connection to Back to the Future. How tremendous to see Doc Brown's mansion! The architecture is fascinating. The tour was really great. The guide was well versed and had some great stories. Got to see almost the entire house. Check in at the garage/gift shop next door, wait in line for the bathroom, and head on over to the patio to wait for the tour. Came here Sunday afternoon early March 2026. Tour groups I think are 12 in size. I booked in advance day of (like 2-3 hours prior). Parking was pretty easy right in front. Not a ton of parking but seemed to be sufficient for the relatively small tour groups. Place is in great shape with lots of original furniture and materials.

Pasadena City Hall is the historic seat of government for the City of Pasadena, California. Completed in 1927, the iconic Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival building serves as the administrative center for city government while also functioning as a popular architectural landmark, tourist attraction, wedding photography location, and venue for civic events. Its distinctive dome, elegant courtyard, and ornate design make it one of Pasadena's most recognizable historic buildings.
Pasadena City Hall is a beautiful and iconic landmark right in the heart of Pasadena. The location is very convenient, with easy access to major highways and nearby attractions, making it a great stop when exploring the city.
The architecture is truly stunning and feels very unique compared to modern buildings. I couldn’t help but stop by and take a few photos, it’s definitely one of those places that stands out and captures your attention right away.

The Maxwell House and staff were fantastic! Their partnership and collaboration for this beautiful event for my Mother turned out lovely. There is no other place I could have imagined celebrating my Mom's birthday.
The Maxwell House is just exquisite! The teams guidance, planning support, and client portal kept me organized and prepared ahead of the event. The number of compliments received on the venue alone was amazing!!! This venue is truly one of the best historical spots in Pasadena.
Rae, Stephanie, and staff were a treat to work with. They were awesome and ready to help me day of wherever needed!
Thank you again for helping bring this joyous occasion to life! I can't wait to host my next event here!! If you have the opportunity to book here, go for it. You will not regret it!!
