Surprise Stadium is a premier baseball venue located in Surprise, serving as the spring training home for MLB teams Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. Opened in 2002, the stadium features a seating capacity of 10,714 and is part of the larger Surprise Recreation Campus. Known for its fan-friendly design, Surprise Stadium offers a comfortable viewing experience, including popular “shady seats” that provide relief from the Arizona sun. Visitors also benefit from free parking and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a favorite destination during spring training season.
It's a great spring training stadium with plenty of covered spot to avoid the sun. Very easy to get to. The taco place hiding around the corner near the Royal merch tent is probably the best bet for food. Overall a great place to enjoy baseball.

This was our 2nd time seeing a concert here. Have to say this time, sound quality wasn't the best, I believe it was the band and not the auditoriums fault. We still had a great time.
Update 11/11/2023:
Greg and I went to see "Toast" tribute band for "Bread." We will definitely see this group again. They sound great together with awesome harmony. The Vista Center has really comfortable seating, and the venue is kept very clean. Nice clean restrooms. They do serve beer $8.00 per can, wine $12.00 for a 6 oz ( Cab and Chard), small bags of chips (lunch size bags). I saw they served Jack Daniels, but I'm not sure if they had more. O, they also had 2 different White Claws.

Bring your walking shoes 👟. Every hour an attraction so be prepared to travel briskly to each event. Kids loved the close encounters and feedings to the Lory Parrots, Giraffes 🦒,and Sea Lions. The must see is the baby pigmy Hippo...... Attractions start ending after 3pm so choose wisely on which event in which order to see. The Log ride, Safari and Train ride ends at 530pm so do those last. The Sky ride was slow and in the sun 🌞 all day so we skipped that one. Ate Pizza 🍕 at The Slice kids loved 😍 it. Too much to see in the 8 hours we were there. Didn't get to half the park. Definitely recommend going back to see more. Every ride has additional costs. For a family of four we spent 6 dollars per person per ride. We spent somewhere between 400-500 including admission 🎟️,almost every ride, attractions, food, and gift shop. Free parking.
