I’m way late to this party, but today we finally visited the Cuyamaca Water Conservation Garden. Thi place is gorgeous, sprawling, and perfect for a 1-3 hour outing. My 1.5 and 3.5 year old loved exploring, and loved the children’s area. We bought a membership immediately after! Lots of nice benches in shade and spots to have a picnic. Hidden gem!

Customer Review
Really cool little museum. They have a great selection of planes to see. A lot of history and they continue to work on up and coming exhibits and restoration. The gift shop has a lot of collectables available for purchase. Our docent was Keith Jones. He took us around and gave us information on the collection. He did a great job, he really knew a lot about the collection. And I really enjoyed sitting in the simulator and listening to Rick's stories about when he was a pilot. So fascinating! If you have any interest in engines this is the place for you! If you have you AP license they have volunteer opportunities for you to work on restoration and exibits. Definitely a place to check out!

An amazing collection, from fossils, arrowheads, Native American jewelry, to jade, sculptures and paintings. I was very impressed with the variety of artifacts. The displays made items easy to see. The guide made it really great cause he knew so much about the items. Not many items have a write up besides a basic name and date. The gift shop had some really cool stuff too and at good prices.
