The Aquarium of the Pacific's mission is to instill a sense of wonder, respect, and stewardship for the Pacific Ocean, its inhabitants, and ecosystems. Their vision is to create the first aquarium, and perhaps the first institution, in the world dedicated to conserving and building Natural Capital (Nature and Nature's services) by building Social Capital (the interactions between and among peoples).
So many cool exhibits. I've never seen so many starfish and jellyfish before. The kids were so excited to see all the sea life. They have a rain forest exhibit with those cool poison dart frogs. Multiple touch pools. We all enjoyed and it was well worth it. Parking is right there and I paid $12 for 3 hours. Many restaurants nearby. The whole thing was dope.

The Long Beach Museum of Art has been exhibiting and collecting works of art in all media including painting, sculpture, contemporary craft and design since its origin as the Municipal Art Center in 1950 and subsequently since 1957 as the Long Beach Museum of Art.
The Long Beach Museum of Art is such a hidden gem for weddings. The ceremony overlooking the ocean is breathtaking, and the gardens and terraces create a natural flow for guests to enjoy the celebration. Inside, the gallery spaces bring an unexpected creative touch—I loved seeing a couple step away for portraits framed by vibrant artwork, which felt like a blend of fine art and personal storytelling.
From a photography standpoint, the variety of backdrops is unmatched: ocean views, clean modern interiors, and intimate evening lighting strung across the courtyard. It allowed me to capture an entire wedding day with so much diversity in the visuals, all without ever leaving the property.
If you’re looking for a venue that feels both elevated and personal, the LBMA really delivers. It’s easily one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding.

The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) was founded in 1996 in Long Beach, California and serves the greater Los Angeles area. MOLAA is the only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art. Since its inception, MOLAA has doubled its size and added a 15,000 sq. ft. sculpture garden.
Always great coming back to Long Beach and visiting this museum of Art. Whether it be a shared day/evening with your family, friends, partners, etc. Exhibits constantly changing. Very cool to check them out as you seen fit!
