We love going to the Gallo. It's a great venue and you can see the stage from every seat. From the balcony to the very front, they are great seats. Each has benefits and drawbacks. We've seen musicals, concerts and plays, and none of them have disappointed.

Great free activity for all ages. My husband and I had a great time walking around the museum and soaking in all the rich history of Modesto. It took us a good 45 min to see all of it. Helps you travel back in time and see how it was before modernization of the town. Will definitely come again and bring other family members.

We used to come here every couple weekends when we lived in the area, and we loved it, but our kids never cared about the exhibits. This time, now that the kids are early school-age, they really enjoyed it, and the reason they were engaged was because if the awesome staff and a scavenger hunt that involved exploring the exhibits.
Also, the native plant garden just outside is a short, pleasant walk, and the interactive outdoor dinosaur excavation sand pit is always a favorite.
