Beautiful historic theater. Sound was pretty good and the staff was really nice. The restroom situation was an issue, but the intermission was long enough to allow everyone in line time to go. Not enough time for concessions and use the restroom, but good enough if you get someone to stand in line and get the snacks and everyone else use the restroom. Congestion was unavoidable as well. Still, we enjoyed ourselves. It was worth the drive from Carlsbad.

Customer Review
We visited this museum while traveling and were impressed with its quality! We were especially appreciative that they included elements that appeal to different age groups; our children (preschool and elementary ages) were both very engaged. We spent about 3 hours to see all the exhibit spaces. The favorite spot was the Steam Lab because it was so interactive. This section does use time blocks for admission, so be sure to ask for a wristband (free with admission) when you are at the front desk.
