I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved this park. I had no idea such a hidden gem existed in Phoenix, especially so close to home. It’s spacious and offers plenty to do, making it easy to spend a few hours there. The pond with ducks is a lovely touch, and the view of midtown in the background adds a unique city-meets-nature vibe.

I've lived in Phoenix my whole life and had never been to this park. It was a great experience and we had a blast. Even though we were there for the Pizza festival, we learned about the park itself amd what it has to offer.

Roadrunner Park, situated in Phoenix, AZ, has been a staple since its establishment in 1990. Hosting a variety of farmers markets including Ahwatukee, Carefree, High Street, Old Town Scottsdale, Sun City, and Verrado, it offers a diverse selection of local farm produce, baked goods, honey, and handcrafted items. Besides being a hub for fresh produce, the park boasts a children's playground, fishing pond with ducks and geese, swimming pool, soccer fields, and hosts special events. Notably, the market is pet-friendly, welcoming Canine "Good Citizens" with open arms. Additionally, it participates in programs like EBT, DUFB, and AZFMNP/WIC.
Nice park, not huge but a good amountof space. Trees, there's some but I'd prefer more so there's more areas to sit. Activity areas: there a volleyball court, baseball, soccer field, a play area with 2 sets of play equipment (one for smaller children and a larger one). A small lake/pond with a good amount of sitting area around it.
