Lots of open space which was green as well. Designed for walkers, runners, skater, others using wheels and walking sticks. I definitely recommend. I saw people paddling with ease and a photo shoot. I went for a skating class. I plan on returning to enjoying other activities. Ample parking.

This park makes for a nice walk around the lake as you are almost guaranteed to see coots, Canadian geese, maybe an osprey, and numerous other birds. There are usually people fishing, dog walkers, and it is a great place for a picnic. There is also a very nice playground and access to the walking path by the canal
