The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is a massive, four-star destination in Nashville, Tennessee, known for being one of the largest non-gaming hotels in the world. Managed by Marriott International, the resort is a "city within a city," featuring 2,888 guest rooms and over nine acres of lush indoor gardens, cascading waterfalls, and winding rivers under soaring glass atriums.
Beautiful, grand, atrium-style hotel with gardens, fountains, restaurants, and shops greeting you upon entry. This place is massive, but great for families and offers a nice serene way to wake up, by walking through the green spaces in search of food or coffee. Kids have plenty of space to run around and be entertained, which is wonderful if you are traveling and they need to get dome energy out first. My kids particularly love the music synchronized fountains.
The rooms are small but very clean and the beds are comfortable. Rooms are quiet other than you can hear the doors slamming shut from the rooms around yours. Soft close doors would be a vast improvement to the sleeping quarters. I highly recommend a room with a balcony, if it is in your budget, as it offers the serenity of sitting and gazing over a small, beautifully landscaped, little village, which is not something you can experience at most hotels.
The service is good, not amazing, 4 out of 5 stars. The holiday decorations and lights interwoven with the gardens and fountains are stunning. My family loves to stay here when we are in the Nashville area at Christmas time, to really feel the magic and beauty of the season. The cost is on the higher side, but fairly priced considering you are also paying for an experience and the convenience of proximity to food, shopping, and entertainment. Unfortunately, there is not a lot to do surrounding the hotel, but Nashville is a relatively quick city to get around and you are roughly 15 minutes from downtown.

The Renaissance Nashville Hotel is a stylish, 4-star "Music City" destination situated at 611 Commerce Street in downtown Nashville. It is widely recognized for its prime location and exceptional service, serving as a contemporary hub connected directly to the major Fifth + Broadway dining and shopping complex.
This hotel was really nice, even the little things like it smelled really good. Nice amenities with the cafe and restaurants. Service was super friendly at the desk. My only complaint is the parking which is probably par for the course with this area but a little annoying. Your options are valet or public garage. Still, our room had a great view and it was so close to Broadway which was perfect for going out and be walkable. Id book here again!
