Mark was super nice, very helpful in directing my pose and encouraging me along the way. The studio atmosphere was very professional (has a dressing/green room) but also laid back, so that relaxed me a bit. He makes sure to know more of you to be able to get a sense of what your "final product" will be, which I appreciate. So glad that even in a little town like Lubbock, there is a photographer that aspiring actors can go to for their "calling card" (aka headshot). Not every photographer can do these shots, atleast not without experience. A photographer has to know what is needed when it comes to these kinds of photos, which are very different from portraits and events. Highly recommend Mark Umstot Photography!
