Lisa Christie and her husband Adam of Christie Architecture in Portland designed a stunning backyard art studio for me. Although I had to pause the build due to rising costs, I absolutely loved the process. Lisa was fun, flexible, and proactive—she even found creative ways to adjust the site to protect a 200-year-old oak tree. She guided me in choosing a builder, handled permits and specs with ease, and brought incredible creativity to the design. Adam’s engineering expertise ensured every detail was solid.
