Chesapeake Pizza has been a staple in the Great Bridge community, offering families and friends a relaxed gathering place to enjoy delicious pizzas, pastas, subs, and salads. Today, this family owned and operated business still runs the same way it did since the first day it opened in 1973. Using the family recipes, all of the menu items are prepared fresh daily, beginning at 6:00am, making the restaurant truly unique in a world where pre-packaged, frozen, and microwaved foods have become the backbone of many chain restaurants.

I love the pizza here. The flavour and the aroma takes me back to the 80s when going to Pizza Hut used to be a real treat (when they had the red and white padded table cloths, candles on the tables, and much better pizza) This place still has that experience where the pizza smells and tastes like it was organically made with passion in a kitchen as opposed to throwing a bunch of premade processed ingredients together real quickly in an assembly line. And most importantly, my kids love it to and always ask when we can go back.
