Cheba Hut is a “Toasted” sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and … well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Most locations also offer craft beer bars that feature local beers from neighborhood breweries.
Fresh and tasty!! Plenty of good choices. Quality ingredients and not skimping out anywhere. Staff friendly and smiling faces! Visiting from out of town and would definitely come back before leaving for another meal. There's a small sit down bar inside.

W D Deli & Bakery opened on McCullough Avenue in the Olmos Park area of San Antonio, Texas. Since that first day, the goal was to provide customers with delicious, fresh food in healthy portions at reasonable prices. Great pride was taken to build a business with scores of regular customers who have been enjoying lunch at the deli consistently since the doors have been opened. In March of 2022 Steve Clemens and Kelly Palubiak took over ownership. W.D. Deli was a hand-in-glove fit for the sort of business they sought out, a long legacy of delighting customers, a happy, committed staff and a strong local presence.

We found respite from the rain and a great meal this morning. I had the French toast and it tasted like something my Mom would cook. The cinnamon level was perfect, which is a big deal when it comes to French toast. The eggs were light and fluffy and the pancakes must have been on point because my Hubby left nothing! No doggy bags needed here.

Zito’s Deli has been serving San Antonio since 1975, when Father John, a Rhode Island native with a passion for food and community, opened the very first location. What started as a small neighborhood deli quickly became a local favorite, known for daily made fresh bread, and family warmth. When Father John passed in 1996, his son Brad and his spirited mother carried on the tradition, keeping the doors open and the ovens warm for nearly two more decades. In 2015, at the remarkable age of 93, Brad’s mom retired but although retired she left behind her special touch that still defines Zito’s today.

Zito's is a San Antonio staple and for good reason. The serious sandwich is what their known for and it is so good! It does gets crowded around noon for the lunch rush but it's worth the wait. Easily the best deli in San Antonio. Highly recommend 👌
