Joaquin had the dream of opening his own restaurant and decided to do just that when he opened Nico’s Cocina in 2006! His focus from day one was to provide the best experience and Mexican food he could offer Carrollton. They continue to have the same focus to this day by serving top quality food and drinks with the best and freshest ingredients every time.

I LOVE this place. I’ve been coming here for a few years with my dad and we absolutely love it. Everyone is always friendly and the food is amazing. 100% recommend the Cowboy Enchiladas, they are unreal. That cheese sauce and everything about them is so freaking good. The chips and salsa are also a huge win, warm chips, great salsa, and they even bring out a black bean dip. So good. I’ll keep coming back as long as they’re open. Definitely visit.
