Water reclamation ponds (8 of)are utilized as a wonderful park and bird sanctuary. Now there are 60 or so white pelicans as with cormorants, night herons, ducks and shore birds and so many others. This location is a gem for birders, photographers, and kids. It’s a must see. Small improvements have been made allowing viewing and keeping people on the paths. Rock squirrels and bunnies abound. Free to all. Dogs allowed on leash.
