About Salt Creek Recreational Center
Salt Creek Recreational Center, The 24-acre community park in Eastlake Trails on Otay Lakes Road, contains two multi-purpose fields, a speed soccer rink, a skate area, tennis and basketball courts, playground areas, picnic shelters, walking trails, and assorted other amenities. The Park also contains a 19,500 square foot recreational center, which houses a gymnasium, fitness center, multi-purpose room, and a game room.

I grew up driving by the beautiful old barn that was here, and was kinda sad when it was torn down and the fields around it developed---but this a great facility and it is wonderful it as a hub of activity for so many kids and adults. My daughter is taking a Youth Fit class with Miss Frances and loving it. From being shy and needing me to walk her into the class, now she jumps out of the car with a "See ya later Mama" and not a backward glance. :) This facility has great views and is easy to get to from adjacent neighborhoods.
