I recently had the opportunity to attend Sierra Health and Wellness for detox and treatment, initially planning to stay for just seven days. However, upon arrival and getting to know the incredible staff and facilitators, I made the life-changing decision to extend my stay to 90 days. During my time there, I faced an unimaginable challenge, the loss of my 21 year old son, who lost his life in a car accident. The compassion and support I received from the team at Sierra Health and Wellness was unwavering, and I'm forever grateful to them. Their support played a significant role in my ability to maintain sobriety during an incredibly difficult time. I'm proud to have completed 90 days sober and am committed to continuing on this journey. Inspired by my experience, I've set a goal to pursue an associate's degree in addiction counseling, with the hope of sharing my testimony and supporting others on their path to recovery.
