About Tax Attorney Daniel W. Layton
Daniel W. Layton, He quickly earned a reputation in the courtroom as an IRS trial attorney. He later worked exclusively in federal criminal and civil tax litigation over five years with the U.S. Department of Justice, handling civil and criminal tax trials in the downtown Los Angeles federal prosecutor's office. In addition to founding his own law firm, he has worked as counsel for a Vault 100 national law firm's mergers & acquisitions group. He is privileged to have been selected to serve as Chair of the Orange County Bar Association's Tax Law Section for four terms (2016, 2020, 2022 and 2025) and as Vice Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association for 2026.
