Reviews

Came here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). I didn't come here to visit a loved one (as I don't know anyone buried here), but came to experience the cemetery overall. Nestled between Glendale, Glassell Park and Atwater Village is this cemetery perched on a hill. You drive around different points of the cemetery and get views of Griffith Park, Glendale, Eagle Rock and peeks of the DTLA skyline. There's so much to explore and it's so serene. They have a beautiful art museum thats culminated with the Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection painted by Jan Styka and Robert Clark. Insanely large painting mounted on a wall. The story and description are very beautiful and emotional. You can also visit different mausoleum that are inspired by the Renaissance Era. Overall, a fantastic place to visit to experience beauty within the mortal, art and history. A must for religious, historical and artistic fans.
