The Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial is a nationally significant military memorial located in Northwood Community Park in Irvine, California. It is recognized as the first permanent memorial in the United States dedicated to honoring by name every American service member who lost their life in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

This is a great park. Well maintained but it is sad that we need to have such a place and you hope that no more names will need to be added to the list of people who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our safety and way of life. May we always remember and honor our servicemen.
