About Roots Through Recovery
Roots Through Recovery was founded in 2013, and has been proudly serving the Long Beach community since 2016. Their outpatient center grew out of an increasing need for the services they offer, in a surprisingly underserved area. they began with treating clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, and as the need developed, they added a primary mental health program in 2018, and a comprehensive chronic and persistent pain program for patients suffering these issues in 2019.

My time at Roots was great. They really make you feel welcome there from the staff to the other patients. All great! The only issue I had was the lack of communication there from the counselors wasn't really given a fair shot to stay and meet my required hours. I get it they're working with a lot of people and wouldn't be able to help everyone personally. If I can go back I will if given the chance after higher level of care. and would definitely recommend to anyone struggling with SUD
