Rancho Santa Rosa Adobes is a historic landmark located within the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve in Murrieta, California. The site features the Moreno and Machado Adobes, two of the oldest surviving structures in Riverside County, dating back to the mid-1800s. These adobe buildings are remnants of the original Rancho Santa Rosa, a vast Mexican land grant established in 1846.

There are miles of trails here and the adobes were very cool, although not what I expected. The fee is only $4 per person but bring cash as you drop it in a box. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy views as well as outhouses in the parking areas as well as near the adobes.
