About The County Line

The County Line was formed by some Texans who loved Austin, loved its heritage and historical buildings, loved BBQ, and were committed to running a restaurant. In 1975 they put all these principles into effect at The County Line’s original location in an old speakeasy now known as the County Line on the Hill. That opening night, however, was not without many challenges. Just before opening, they realized they had no menus.

Reviews

Had a huge baked potato with brisket. Was delicious. Nachos were fire, literally. If you like spice you'll love them. We were a party of 13 and they accommodated us quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I snapped a pic of my Cosmopolitan. The bartender suggested it after it was explained I like sweet drinks.
