Joe T. Garcia's, Their story starts when their family matriarch, Mamasuez, immigrated from Michoacán, Mexico, to Fort Worth in 1911. She brought little else besides a tireless work ethic and love for her family. Alongside her husband and restaurant namesake, Joe T., she wanted to build a life for herself and the people she loved. Little did she know it would be the humble beginnings of an iconic restaurant, and a Fort Worth tradition would be born.

The food was average for me. Although a limited menu can work well. I was expecting more taco options than cheese. It's very well staffed, excellent service. The atmosphere outside is what brings you in and will bring you back. Absolutely beautiful. Especially in the evening when the outdoor lights are on.
