About Arroyo Pescadero Trailhead
The Arroyo Pescadero area of the Preserve is the site of a former oil field and features several oil company roads that are now used as recreational trails. The relatively level, 2-mile Bob Henderson loop trail is a popular option and perfect for families. Several habitat restoration projects have been completed along the Arroyo San Miguel Trail (east of Colima Road) providing lush expanses of native Coastal Sage Scrub habitat for various species of sensitive wildlife, including the federally threatened coastal California gnatcatcher.

Great place to soak up some sun, have the kids walk sweat and complain because its can be up to 3.5 mile loop. Dog loves it, great place to get mental peace, space, clarity. A natural place for the great outdoors. Beginner friendly trail.
