About Desperados Mexican Restaurant
Desperados Mexican Restaurant has been a Dallas original where family recipes, strong margaritas, good music, and warm hospitality come together como familia. It all started on Greenville Avenue with twelve tables, a hand-cranked tortilla press, and recipes carried from Mexico City by Jorge Levy and his partners. No fancy reservations. No shortcuts. Just homemade food, cold cerveza, and a neighborhood spot where everybody felt welcome.

I could not have had a more enjoyable meal. The food is absolutely delicious! Our servers were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive during our meal. We had the queso, guacamole, and the chips were absolutely delicious. Our meals were so flavorful and were some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I had the Desperados Tacos and it was amazing. I could not recommend this place enough for anyone to eat here.
