Kenny & Ziggy’s New York Delicatessen is a family-style Jewish deli and bakery in Houston, Texas, known for its authentic New York–inspired cuisine and large, traditional comfort-food portions. Founded in 1999 by third-generation deli owner Ziggy Gruber in partnership with Kenny Friedman, the restaurant was created to bring classic New York deli culture to Houston while preserving old-world recipes and preparation methods.

The service and ambience was worth the drive to this Deli. Traditional Jewish food plus a lot of additional items which spans their humongous menu. This is the biggest menu I have seen. We loved the Fish and Chips, the best fish and chips in Texas. The pickle snack is a good starter and you’ll love the retro vibe of the interior. A must visit and you’ll not be disappointed. This is slowly becoming a must stop for Houston trips.
