Good Day Cafe Irving Beginning as a joint family venture and first opening in 2007, at its former location on 830 Mayfield in Grand Prairie, Texas. Good Day Cafe became known for it's traditional homestyle food, family friendly atomsphere and such signature favorites as: Chicken Fried Chicken, Chicken Fried Steak, Biscuits and Gravy, in addition to serving breakfast all day. Good Day Cafe quickly become a "favorite" place for several of their regular valued customers.

Great local cafe. I had the breakfast tacos with bacon and eggs. The flour tortillas tasted fresh and homemade. The salsa was a delicious topping. The hashbrowns also tasted fresh, not frozen or greasy. The portions were enough to have leftovers. They also have a nice 55+ menu (with grits - can't always find those). The coffee tasted great. Will definitely return to try more dishes. Price was reasonable and service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean and well situated to accommodate patrons without squeezing them in.
