About Metropolitan Golf Links
Metropolitan Golf Links is an award-winning public, links-style golf course located in Oakland, California, adjacent to Oakland International Airport. Designed by Johnny Miller and Fred Bliss, the course opened in 2003 on the site of the former Lew F. Galbraith Golf Course. It features an 18-hole championship course, a full-length driving range, short-game practice area, PGA instruction through the Elevate Golf Academy, tournament hosting, and an elegant wedding and event venue.

Great course. Always a little wind but makes for a challenge. Very nice but contoured greens, average pace of play the times i played. Pretty wide fairways, but check your course map, a few tricky tee shots. Staff is generally friendly and attentive.
