Italian Garden began in Bonham, Texas, where Executive Chef Besfort "Lil' Benny" Polisi honed his menu-building skills. Inspired by his Albanian grandmother’s recipes, Lil' Benny’s love for food shines through in every dish. After starting a family, he set his sights on McKinney, choosing a location that had seen four restaurants fail. Despite initial challenges, Lil' Benny and his brother "Big Benny" persevered. Their specialty, Chicken Murphy, features a sautéed chicken breast with fresh red peppers, mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños in a white cream sauce with a touch of marinara, all served over spaghetti.

First time here and truly enjoyed the hospitality and the food. I got the fried mushrooms for the appetizer and it was phenomenal. The portion size was pretty big and probably good for 2-3 people. I got the Chicken Florentine for the entree and loved it. Tons of flavor and the noodle texture was on point. My wife got the seafood combo pasta and enjoyed it as well. Glad that I found this place. The soup of the day was Cheese Tortellini and I loved it as well.
