About Oceanside Museum of Art
Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) is a nonprofit contemporary art museum located in downtown Oceanside, California. The museum is dedicated to bringing people together to explore the art and stories of Southern California artists through rotating exhibitions, educational programs, public events, and community engagement. Housed in the historic Irving Gill Building and a modern expansion designed by Frederick Fisher, OMA is one of North County San Diego's premier cultural destination

A wonderful eclectic collection of paintings, sculpture, and functional art. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. There is also a nice museum store. The day we visited the museum, it was hosting a free art class. There is plenty of public parking nearby.
