About Peters Canyon North Trailhead
Peters Canyon Regional Park is a 340-acre regional wilderness park located at 8548 E. Canyon View Ave., Orange, California. Managed by OC Parks, the park features a diverse landscape of coastal sage scrub, riparian habitat, freshwater marshes, grasslands, and the 55-acre Upper Peters Canyon Reservoir. Popular with hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, birdwatchers, and nature enthusiasts, the park offers scenic trails, panoramic viewpoints, and abundant wildlife, including mule deer, bobcats, coyotes, hawks, and migratory birds.

Nice place to hike and even do some mountain biking. Steep enough heels for a challenge and also a good amount of shade when needed.
