About Desert Sands Park
Desert Sands Park is a 20-acre community park in Palmdale, California, developed in 1991. The park is a popular destination for sports, family recreation, and community activities. In 2024, its playground and fitness zone were extensively renovated with modern, accessible play equipment, including obstacle courses, climbing features, slides, sensory play elements, and a zip track designed for children of different age groups.

This is great family park that has alot going on nearby with the mall and huge shopping centers now this one offers alot of different activities even a volleyball area with soft sand now please wear your sneakers not your flip flops on any sand folks bc of the possible danger also had what appeared to be a Frisbee ring and basketball court. Kind of something for everyone does have what looks to be some kind of enclosed private area by the center. Restrooms are clean n tidy like they are being checked on regularly many trees with shade on a hot day and a nice looking playground for the kids very pleased!
