County Grill & Smokehouse is a family owned and operated restaurant group that specializes in smoked meats and homemade southern foods and sides. The first County Grill & Smokehouse was opened in 1995 in Yorktown, Virginia. With hard work and determination they opened a second location in Hampton, Virginia. Their competition BBQ team, the Serial Grillers, compete all over the country, holding many titles and awards.

Only in town for the weekend and asked the locals for recommendations. This was one of them...you can smell the food from outside, we were seated right away and they made accommodations as our party got bigger. Went back for my 3rd night in town as well. Had the pick 3 the first night (Brisket, 1/2 chicken, and wings) Mac and cheese was 🔥 Service was great. 2nd time I had the Prime Rib, appetizers were good as well. I'll be back of I'm back...Great BBQ.
