Opened in 1920 as a little chili stand, Barney’s Beanery has become a casual mainstay in Los Angeles and a gem of Hollywood lore. Can’t say no to this gigantic calzone and yes it is indeed tasty. Very cool interior with buses as seats. There are three floors, and the upper level has pool tables and a bar, much quieter than the first floor. The lower level was closed for us that night. We had lots of fun.
