Zero's Subs Oceanfront In 1967, two cousins Gene Schmidt and David Miele started Zero’s Subs in Virginia Beach on Pacific Ave. The concept originated due to David’s knowledge of hoagie shops in downtown Williamsport Pennsylvania. They wanted to build a local sub shop that offered an alternative approach to fast food. Their approach was simple: hot oven-baked submarine sandwiches, made to order with quality ingredients and a level of service that would become Zero’s Subs’ banner of excellence.

Awesome food and wonderful staff. Get place to get fast food Made right. Called to get directions, very friendly and accurate. Helped us with the menu. Received food fast. The onion rings were the bomb, just like the sandwiches. Prices were great also. We made a mistake on a sub and they were understanding even though it was our fault. We will be back. Short walk, but worth every penny. Thank you so much..
