About Palomares Adobe

The Pomona Valley and the city of Pomona in particular have a rich and interesting history, and the Historical Society of Pomona Valley is proud to share it with you. We protect and preserve important historic sites, records, and artifacts and to educate the public about the area's history, from the Rancho era to the present. Only by knowing where we have been can we know where we are headed. (Links to organizations that share history from before the Rancho era are located on the Visit, Before the Rancho San Jose page.)

Reviews

Beautiful adobe and tour. This place is rich in history. Reservations for tours must be made online at the website. $5 per person. Parking is at the Palomaras Park next door. They also have a couple items for purchase inside. Highly recommended a visit if you are interested in knowing the history of the area or what it was like to have lived at a time much more primitive than today.
