About Claremont Hills Wilderness Park
Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is a scenic open-space park at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains in Claremont, California. The park features more than 2,000 acres of natural landscape and over 20 miles of trails, including the popular 5-mile Claremont Loop. The trail gets crowded but the parking lot is nicely controlled by the park rangers. I personally like to start the loop on the right as there is some shade going uphill. Other than that there isn't much shade but its a nice trail overall.
