About Richmond Golf Club
The Richmond Country Club is a four-time PGA Tour stop, and has been played by some of the greatest golfers in history. We began in 1924 as the Carquinez Golf Club, and had over 300 members by 1927. They built the first simple clubhouse and a pro shop and office that were less than ten feet wide and twenty feet long. Late in 1938, the club hired Pat Markovich as Pro and General Manager. Through his guidance, they grew in stature to become one of the San Francisco Bay area's elite private golf clubs.
