The covered picnic areas with built-in barbecues made planning our afternoon pretty straightforward. We spent some time on the paved trail, let the kids check out the western-themed playground and maze, and still had plenty of open space around us — it was an easy place to move between activities. The bathrooms and water fountains were convenient, and parking was fine when we arrived, though I can see it filling up during events. A few more signs on the smaller trails would help, but overall it was a smooth, low-stress park visit.
