My family and I visited Sakura for the first time this evening for dinner. I was expecting the usual Japanese steakhouse atmosphere, loud, smoky and crowded tables. I was surprised to see they don’t actually use the hibachi grills. It’s all table service. I was a little skeptical but after the first bite of my steak and scallops hibachi I was in love! This place is incredibly underrated. The food was so fresh and tasted amazing. I’ve never been to Japan but I somehow feel this is what hibachi is supposed to taste like. My daughters ordered the sushi rolls and they were also blown away by the freshness. I don’t know that I can go back to the other places. Amazing food, great service and a quiet atmosphere. This place won me over.
