Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It's a fun throwback to the old Embassy Suites experience. With that being said, it is very much in need of an update. You can tell they take great care in maintaining the hotel, but everything is just very dated. The staff we interacted with we're all amazing. Bathroom was tiny. I'm not exceptionally large but I am tall, and for some reason I barely fit in the shower. It was not a pleasant showering experience. I do wish they had more variety on the happy hour. I stay at Embassy Suites a lot and other ones I've experienced have a greater variety of snacks during happy hour. The location can't be beat. There's plenty of things to do on the south side and you are minutes away from Marsha Sharp freeway to head over to campus or downtown.
