About Monterey Zoo
Monterey Zoo is a nonprofit zoological park in Salinas, California, dedicated to wildlife conservation, animal care, education, and public awareness. Home to more than 100 exotic animals, the zoo offers immersive exhibits, educational programs, and unique animal experiences while supporting global conservation initiatives. It is also home to Vision Quest Ranch, where guests can enjoy overnight accommodations near the animals

The Monterey Zoo is a hidden gem in the very best way. The animal enclosures are wonderfully large and the animals are well cared for. The love and attention to detail is evident in all the aspects of this zoo. Many of the animals were rescues which I am so happy to support. You can tell that the staff and the manager are very knowledgeable and care deeply about conservation. I will recommend the zoo to all of my friends.
