About The Derby
The Derby is a historic, award-winning restaurant in Arcadia with a legacy dating back to 1922. Located near Santa Anita Park, the restaurant has long been associated with horse racing culture and has welcomed generations of race fans, horse owners, celebrities, and local guests. Its history is closely connected to legendary jockey George “The Iceman” Woolf, who purchased The Derby in 1938 and envisioned it as a gathering place for jockeys and racing enthusiasts. The Derby definitely did not disappoint. The service was awesome. The food is even better. Best steak, prime rib , and Chilean sea bass was on point. Hands down one of the best steak houses ever. Old fashions were perfect. Definitely going back.
