About Taylor's Steak House

Taylor's Steakhouse is a historic, family-owned Los Angeles restaurant with roots dating to 1953. Tex and Margie Taylor began the business by transforming O'Kelley's Tavern into Taylor's, establishing a restaurant that would become a longstanding part of Los Angeles dining history. The business remains family-operated under Bruce Taylor, continuing the legacy established by his parents. Taylor's Steakhouse has grown from its original Los Angeles establishment to include a La Cañada location, which opened in 1996. With more than seven decades of history, the restaurant continues to be recognized for its enduring family ownership, traditional character, and place within Southern California's restaurant history.
