About South Bay Homebirth Collective
Haumea Birth and Family Wellness is an independent group of licensed midwives located in the Rose Garden area of San Jose. Originally opened as the South Bay Homebirth Collective in July 2013, they brings together birth professionals supporting Bay Area families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. The organization also provides childbirth education and family-focused wellness events.

South Bay Homebirth Collective is AMAZING! I had my appointments in San Jose with Melissa because I live in Saratoga, and when it was baby time my fiancé drove us the 25 minutes down to Morgan Hill to the birth center. Melissa and her doulas are so knowledgable and comforting. This was my first birth and if we are in the Bay Area for our next I am definitely going to call, and more than likely have another transformative experience in the hands of experts. Highly recommended on every level!
