Presidio Golf Course is my favorite public course in San Francisco. It is a challenging but rewarding walk. You feel like you've found an oasis in the city, where you kind of forget where you are. Golf staff was very kind and greets you right when you walk in. Pro shop is clean and well stocked. Course has some memorable shots, and while you can definitely get punished for bad shots, it is fair. Course and experience were great and if you add the location it really is an amazing place to go.

I love it here. I usually golf the Fleming 9 hole. It's a perfect walking course. Wide forgiving fairways and relatively flat cart paths. Beautiful scenery with the lake and Cyprus trees. The greens are fast and the grass is always green.

About half the price as presidio but it’s definitely worth more than half of presidio. The views are spectacular and the tee box of 17 is I think the best of the two courses. Very challenging. Great workout for walking. They do offer push carts for rent. The club house looks like it could be demolished and built again but that didn’t bother me.
